If there is something that can lengthen one's life, it is only nature or God alone. Visit nosle.com and place your messages and images and video's for free.

Thanks for the comment on my blog!!

Ok as for my supplements and vitamins -

I am a fan of the company called New Chapter -

http://www.new-chapter.com/

I like their Every Women's One Daily vitamin but I am out of them now so I am taking Cooper Complete Basic One until I can get back to the US and restock!

Here are the others I take -

New Chapters Zyflamend for inflammation as I have a knee injury.
New Chapters Supercritical Antioxidants
Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM
CLA
Fish oil and Flax oils tablets - I just ran out of these!

And now that I am under the weather this week I am taking a wellness formula to ensure I do not get sick for our trip we have coming up.

Have a blessed day!

I would have thought that lowering the metabolic rate would merely encourage weight gain. When I was hypothyroid in 2001/2002, I gained ~28lbs. I don't think that this would lengthen my life. Quite the opposite.

Did you know that DNP increases the average lifespan of fruit flies? See Uncoupler of oxidative phosphorylation prolongs the lifespan of Drosophila.

Mind you, humans aren't fruit flies!
Cheers, Nige.

Where is your Vitamin D3? Can't be getting much from sunlight right now all the way up there in Siberia?

Mitochondria is normally inherited from the mother. Though in fruit flies mitochondria is shown to be paternal sometimes! Would imagine human mitochondria to be different to fruit flies in many ways.

Pretty interesting what DNP does on fruit flies. I'd rather they didn't have a longer life span though - complete pests in some parts of the tropics!
